I am not Hindu I am a Santan Dharmi .....

I am not Hindu ….I am a Sanatan Dharmi….

The word "Hindu" was first mentioned in the 6th century BCE in the Behistun Inscription of Darius I, the Achaemenid Emperor of Persia.

The inscription refers to the people who lived beyond the Indus River as "Hinduvā". The word "Hindu" is derived from the Sanskrit word "Sindhu", which means "Indus River".

The term "Hindu" was originally used as a Geographical Term to refer to the people who lived in the Indus Valley Region. However, over time, it came to be used as a Religious Term to refer to the followers of Hinduism. The earliest known use of the term "Hindu" in a religious sense is in the Chinese text Records on the Western Regions by the Buddhist scholar Xuanzang.

It is important to note that the term "Hindu" is not used by all Hindus to refer to themselves. Some Hindus prefer to use the term "Sanatana Dharma", which means "eternal religion". Others use the term "Vaishnavism", "Shaivism", or "Shaktism", which are names of the different sects of Hinduism.

The term "Hindu" is a complex and contested term. It has been used in a variety of ways over the centuries, and it continues to be debated today. However, it is clear that the term "Hindu" has a long and rich history, and it is an important part of the identity of many people in India and around the world.

With the leaderships of India more interested in winning Elections and less about unification and cultural rejuvenation, India is looking at a paradigm shift in its governance.

Today Castes are creating distinct & independent identities.... it is a sign of cultural fragmentation….the only thing that unites us now and results in a strong Indian Army is The Constitution of India…else any half baked country or conquerer would walk into India and occupy it….like in the past & as History will remind us.

I do observe that today, many Tribals, Dalits, Sikhs, Buddhists are delinking  from Hinduism. The whole politics of Hindutva is being rejected into becoming a minority representation of "Select Upper Castes".... I just heard a small time Jat Leader saying "We are not Hindu we are Jats"....

Today has #Hindu just become a term for political polarisation by ruthless political agendas….when even Sanatan Dharm Sadhus are "keen" to become Politicians instead of staying committed to Religion towards creating & reviving #SanatanDharm infrastructure….

Will we regret this as a Nation????
