Lord Parshurama is the 6th Incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
He is credited with the re-establishment of Dharma...he is the savior of The Vedas.... & the Deity who is credited with introducing Ayurveda & the iconic Martial Arts Kalaripayattu.
Lord Parshuram is revered by the #GaudSaraswatBrahmins (#GSBs) as their Patron Deity.
According to Puran Legends, Lord Parshuram led a group of #SaraswatBrahmins from North India to the Western Coast of India, where they settled in #Goa and #Konkan.
The #GSBs believe that Lord Parshuram created the Konkan Region & #Kerala from the Arabian Sea and that he gave them the land as a gift .... this Region is also known as #ParshuramKshetra.
The GSBs are a community of Brahmins who are known for their intellectual and entrepreneurial skills. They have played a significant role in the history and culture of Goa and Konkan.

The #GSBs celebrate a number of festivals throughout the year, including the #ParshuramJayanti, which is celebrated on the 3rd Day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra (March-April). This Festival is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Parshuram.
