Malana Village / Himachal Pradesh. Maharishi Jamdagini

#MaharishiJamdagni was a Vedic Sage who lived in the Himalayas. He is one of the #Saptarishis, or the Seven Great Sages of Hinduism. #Jamdagni is said to have been a powerful Yogi and a master of the occult sciences. He is also credited with authoring several important Vedic texts, including the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.

There is a famous Ancient Temple near this Lake called  #TapeKaMandir, where Maharishi Jamdagini & Renuka Mata were blessed with the child who was the Incarnation of Vishnu - Parshurama.
