The History of The Road Cycle can be traced back to the early 19th century, when Karl von Drais invented The #Draisine, a two-wheeled vehicle powered by the rider's feet. The Draisine was made of wood and had a large front wheel. It was not very practical, but it was the forerunner of the modern bicycle.

In the 1860s, French inventor Pierre Michaux added pedals and cranks to the front wheel of The Draisine, creating the Velocipede. The Velocipede was also made of wood and had a large front wheel, but it was much more efficient than The Draisine.

In the 1870s, The Penny-Farthing Bicycle was invented. The Penny-Farthing had a very large front wheel and a very small rear wheel. This design made the Penny-Farthing very fast, but it was also very dangerous.

In the 1880s, The Safety Bicycle was invented. The Safety Bicycle had two equal-sized wheels and a chain drive. It was much safer to ride than the penny-farthing, and it quickly became the most popular type of bicycle.

In the early 1900s, road cycling began to develop as a sport. The first #Tour_de_France was held in 1903, and other major road races, such as the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España, soon followed.

Road Cycles have continued to evolve over the years. In the 1950s, Derailleur Gears were introduced, which made it possible for cyclists to shift gears while riding. In the 1970s, lightweight Aluminium Frames were introduced, which made Road Cycles even faster and more efficient.

In recent years, road cycles have become even lighter and more aerodynamic, thanks to the use of materials such as carbon fiber and titanium. Road Cycles are also now equipped with electronic shifting systems and disc brakes, which make them even easier and safer to ride.

Today, Road Cycling is a popular sport and recreational activity all over the world. Road Cycles are used for commuting, touring, and racing. Road Cycling is a great way to get exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and see the world.
